Welcome to The Academy of Gymnastics (TAG). These Terms & Conditions govern your enrollment, use of our student/parent portal, and communications with us (including WhatsApp alerts). By accessing our portal, making enquiries, or enrolling a student, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with enrollment or portal registration.
1. Enrollment & Portal Access
To register a student, a parent or legal guardian must create an account on the TAG portal.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during the registration process.
- You are solely responsible for safeguarding the credentials (username/password) provided for your portal access.
- Only authorized parents or legal guardians may manage student profiles, view progression, or confirm billing records.
2. Fees, Payments & Validity
TAG operates on a pre-paid plan system (e.g., 12 sessions, 36 sessions, or 60 sessions).
- Advance Payments: All plan fees must be paid in full prior to the start of training sessions.
- Session Expiry: Each plan has a designated validity period (e.g., 12 sessions are valid for 36 days). Any sessions not utilized within the validity period will automatically expire and cannot be carried forward.
- Late Fees & Grace Periods: If a plan expires, a grace period reminder will be sent. Access to the training mat may be suspended if payments are outstanding.
3. WhatsApp Messaging Terms
By enrolling or making an enquiry on this website, you explicitly consent to receive transactional and informational notifications via WhatsApp from The Academy of Gymnastics.
Program Details:
- Message Types: Messages will include student login credentials, admission welcome notices, invoice details, monthly fee-due alerts, class schedule changes, and direct administrative support chats.
- Opt-Out Instructions: You may opt-out of automated notifications at any time by replying with the keyword "STOP" directly to our WhatsApp number. A single opt-out confirmation message will be sent, and no further automated notifications will be broadcasted to your number unless re-subscribed.
- Carrier Charges & Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply from your mobile network provider. TAG does not charge additional fees for sending or receiving WhatsApp messages.
- Message Frequency: The frequency of messages is variable and depends on your child's training schedule, plan expiration dates, and billing cycles.
Please note that opting out of WhatsApp messaging may lead to missing critical billing alerts or emergency schedule changes.
4. Safety & Medical Disclaimer
Gymnastics is a high-intensity, physical sport that carries inherent risk of injury.
- Parents/guardians must declare any pre-existing medical conditions, physical limits, or allergies during registration.
- TAG coaches are certified and follow strict safety procedures. However, the academy will not be held liable for accidental injuries sustained during normal course of training or on-site practice.
- Appropriate gymnastics training attire (free of loose items, jewelry, or dangerous zippers) must be worn at all times.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Unless explicitly stated otherwise:
- All fees paid for registrations, plans, or tournaments are non-refundable.
- Plans cannot be transferred to another student or sibling.
- In exceptional circumstances (e.g., long-term medical injury supported by an official medical certificate), the academy management may review the plan and freeze or extend session validity at their sole discretion.
6. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai/Pune, Maharashtra.
