TAG is Pune's beginner-first gymnastics academy. No experience needed, no talent test, just a safe place for your child to start from age 3 and grow at their own pace.
Our Origin
TAG began with a simple observation.
Young children in Pune had very few opportunities to start gymnastics in a safe, structured environment. Most programs were designed for athletes already on the competitive path, not for a child's very first class.
Having trained and represented India as an international gymnast, Saif Tamboli wanted to change that. He founded TAG to make quality gymnastics accessible from the very beginning, using professional equipment, age-appropriate coaching, and a learning environment where every child could grow with confidence. Competition is always a choice. Getting started is what matters.
Today, more than 200 families trust TAG with their children's development. Under the ownership and management of Dr. Alisha Tamboli, and the founding vision of Saif Tamboli, the academy coaches recreational and competitive gymnasts while also mentoring grassroots coaches and physical education teachers, helping bring gymnastics into communities across Pune.

Dr. Alisha Tamboli, a qualified MBBS doctor and the Owner & Director of TAG, combines her healthcare background with a deep passion for children's holistic growth and well-being.
Her guidance and motivation were key to bringing TAG to life. She believes gymnastics builds confidence, discipline, strength, and a healthy lifestyle in every child.

Saif Tamboli
Saif Tamboli founded TAG after representing India at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, the 2023 Asian Championships, and the 2023 World Challenge Cup. He brings over 20 years of gymnastics experience to the academy.
He built TAG for a child's first class, not only for athletes already on a competitive path. He designs the curriculum and mentors every coach. Competition is always a choice. Getting started is what matters.
